Dead Sea or Live Sea, What do u wanna be?

Here is an interesting story on two seas with some interesting lessons. I had heard of Dead Sea in school. No one ever told me this side of the story. You may find it interesting. I look forward to your perspective.

A tale of Two Seas ! As you probably recall, the Dead Sea is really a Lake, not a sea.It’s so high in salt content that the human body can float easily. You can almost lie down and read a book! The salt in the Dead Sea is as high as 35% - almost 10 times the normal ocean water. And all that saltiness has meant that there is no life at all in the Dead Sea. No fish. No vegetation. No sea animals. Nothing lives in the Dead Sea.  And hence the name: Dead Sea.

The other Sea is the Sea of Galilee. Turns out that the Sea of Galilee is just north of the Dead Sea. Both the Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea receive their water from river Jordan. And yet, they are very, very different.

 

Unlike the Dead Sea, the Sea of Galilee is pretty, resplendent with rich, colorful marine life. There are lots of plants. And lots of fish too. In fact, the Sea of Galilee is home to over twenty different types of fishes.

Same region, same source of water, and yet while one sea is full of life, the other is dead. How come?

 

Here’s apparently why. The River Jordan flows into the Sea of Galilee and then flows out. The water simply passes through the Sea of Galilee in and then out - and that keeps the sea healthy and vibrant, teeming with marine life.

 

But the Dead Sea is so far below the mean sea level, that it has no outlet. The water flows in from the river Jordan, but does not flow out. There are no outlet streams. It is estimated that over 7 million tons of water evaporate from the Dead Sea every day. Leaving it salty. Too full of minerals. And unfit for any marine life.

 

The Dead Sea takes water from the River Jordan, and holds it. It does not give.

 

Result? No life at all.

 

Think about it.

 

Life is not just about getting. Its about giving. We all need to be a bit like the Sea of Galilee.

We are fortunate to get wealth, knowledge, love and respect. But if we don't learn to give, we could all end up like the Dead Sea. The love and the respect, the wealth and the knowledge could all evaporate. Like the water in the Dead Sea.

 

If we get the Dead Sea mentality of merely taking in more water, more money, more everything the results can be disastrous.

Good idea to make sure that in the sea of your own life, you have outlets. Many outlets. For love and wealth - and everything else that you get in your life. Make sure you don't just get, you give too.

 

Open the taps. And you'll open the floodgates to happiness. Make that a habit to share and experience life... Experience the magic!

कोरोना को किसने हराया?

मैं एक प्रायवेट कम्पनी मे बाबू हूँ हमेंशा की तरह कम्पनी मे काम कर रहा था। मुझे हल्का बुखार आया शाम तक सर्दी भी हो गई पास ही के मेडिकल स्टोर से दवाइया मंगा कर खाई। 

3-4 दिन थोडा ठीक रहा एक दिन अचानक साँस लेने मे दिक्कत हुई ओक्सिजन लेवल कम होने लगा मेरी पत्नी ने तत्काल रिक्शा कर मुझे अस्पताल लेकर पहुंची। सरकारी अस्पताल में पलंग फुल चल रहे थे, मैं देख रहा था मेरी पत्नी मेरे इलाज के लिये डाक्टर के सामने गिड़गिड़ा रही थी। अपने परिवार को असहाय सा बस देख ही पा रहा था मेरी तकलीफ बढती जा रही थी मेरी पत्नी मुझे हौसला दिला रही थी कह रही थी, कुछ नही होगा हिम्मत रखो, (यह वही औरत थी जिसे मे हमेशा कहता था की तुम बेवकूफ औरत हो तुम्हे क्या पता दुनिया मे क्या चल रहा हे)।

उसने एक प्राइवेट अस्पताल मे लड़ झगड कर मुझे भर्ती करवाया। फिर अपने भाई याने मेरे साले को फोन लगाकर सारी बातें बताई उसकी उम्र होगी 20 साल करीबन जो मेरी नजर मे आवारा और निठल्ला था जिसे मेरे घर आने की परमीशन  नही थी। वह अक्सर मेरी गैर हाजरी  मे ही मेरे घर आता जाता था। फिर, अपने देवर को याने मेरे छोटे भाई को फोन लगा कर उसने बुलाया जो मेरे साले की उम्र का ही था जो बेरोजगार था और मैं उसे कहता था "काम का ना काज का दुश्मन अनाज का" दोनो घबराते  हुए अस्पताल पहुंचे दोनो की आंखो मे आंसू थे दोनो कह रहे थे की आप घबराना मत आपको हम कुछ नही होने देंगे।

डॉक्टर साहब कह रहे थे की हम 3-4 घन्टे ही ओक्सिजन दे पायेंगे फिर आपको ही ओक्सिजन के सिलेंडर की व्यवस्था करनी होगी। मेरी पत्नी बोली डाक्टर साहब ये सब हम कहा से लायेंगे।

तभी मेरे भाई और साला बोले हम लायेंगे सिलेंडर आप इलाज शुरु किजीये दोनो वहा से रवाना हो गये। मुझ पर बेहोशी छाने लगी और जब होश आया तो मेरे पास ओक्सिजन सिलेंडर रखा था। मैंने पत्नी से पूछा ये कहा से आया उसने कहा तुम्हारा भाई और मेरा भाई दोनो लेकर आये है। मेने पूछा कहा से लाये , उसने कहा ये तो वो ही जाने।

अचानक मेरा ध्यान पत्नी की खाली कलाइयो पर गया मैंने कहा तुम्हारे कंगन कहा गये? कितने साल से लड़ रही थी कंगन दिलवाओ कंगन दिलवाओ अभी पिछ्ले महीने शादी की सालगिरह पर दिलवाये थे (बोनस मिला था उस समय)। वह बोली आप चुपचाप सो जाइये कंगन यही हे कही नही गये मुझे उसने दवाइया दी और मैं आराम करने लगा, नींद आ गई।

जैसे ही नींद खुली क्या देखता हू मेरी पत्नी कई किलो वजनी सिलेंडर को उठा कर ले जा रही थी जो थोडा सा भी वजनी सामान उठाना होता था मुझे आवाज देती थी आज कैसे कई किलो वजनी सिलेंडर तीसरी मंजिल से नीचे ले जा रही थी और नीचे से भरा हुआ सिलेंडर ऊपर ला रही थी। मुझे गुस्सा आया मेरे साले और मेरे भाई पर ,ये दोनो कहा मर गये फिर सोचा आयेंगे तब फटकारुंगा।

  

फिर पडौस के बैड पर भी एक सज्जन भर्ती थे उनसे बाते करने लगा मैंने कहा की अच्छा अस्पताल है नीचे सिलेंडर आसानी से मिल रहे हैं, उन्होने कहा क्या खाक अच्छा अस्पताल है, यंहा से 40 किलोमिटर दूर बड़े शहर मे 7-8 घन्टे लाइन मे लगने के बाद बडी  मुश्किल से एक सिलेंडर मिल पा रहा है। आज ही अस्पताल मे ओक्सिजन की कमी से 17 मौते हुई है। मैं सुनकर घबरा गया और सोचने लगा की शायद मेरा साला और भाई भी ऐसे ही सिलेंडर ला रहे होंगे पहली बार दोनो के प्रती सम्मान का भाव जागा था ।

कुछ सोचता इससे पहले पत्नी बड़ा सा खाने का टिफ़िन लेकर आती दिखी पास आकर बोली उठो खाना खा लो। उसने मुझे खाना दिया एक कोल खाते ही मैने कहा ये तो माँ ने बनाया है, उसने कहा हां माँ ने ही बनाया है। माँ कब आई गांव से, उसने कहा कल रात को। अरे वो कैसे आ गई, अकेले तो वो कभी नही आई शहर। पत्नी बोली बस से उतर कर आटो वाले को घर का पता जो एक पर्चे मे लिखा था वह दिखा कर घर पहुंच गई।

मेरी माँ शायद बाबुजी के स्वर्गवास के बाद पहली बार ही अकेले सफर किया होगा। गाव की जमीन मां बेचने नही दे रही थी तो मेरा मेरी माँ से मन मुटाव चल रहा था कहती थी मेरे मरने के बात जैसा लगे  वैसा, करना जीते जी तो नही बेचने दूँगी।

पत्नी बोली मुझे भी अभी मेरी मां ने बताया की आपकी माँ रात को आ गई थी, वो ही घर से खाना लेकर आई है, जो आपकी मां ने बनाया है। मैंने कहा पर तुम्हारी मां को तो पैरों मे तकलीफ है उन्हे चलते नही बनता है। मेरे ससुर के स्वर्गवास के बाद बहुत कम ही घर से निकलती है, पत्नी बोली आप आराम से खाना खाइये मैं खाना खाने लगा।

 

कुछ देर बाद मेरे फटीचर दोस्त का फोन आया बोला हमारे लायक कोई काम हो तो बताना। मैंने मन मे सोचा जो मुझसे उधार ले रखे हे 3000 रुपये वही वापस नही किया, काम क्या बताऊ तुझे। फिर भी मैंने कहा ठीक हे जरुरत होगी तो बता दूगा और मुह बना कर फोन काट दिया ।

 

16 दिंनों तक मेरी पत्नी सिलेंडर ढोती रही मेरा भाई और साला लाईन मे लगकर सिलेंडर लाते रहे, फिर  हालत मे सुधार हुआ फिर 18 वे दिन मेरी अस्पताल से छुट्टी हुई ।

मुझे खुद पर गर्व था की मैंने कोरोना को हरा दिया मैं फूला नही समा रहा था। 

घर पहुंच कर असली कहानी पता चली की, मेरे इलाज मे बहुत सारा रुपया लगा है। शहर के बड़े अस्पताल का बिल कई लाख था, कितना ये तो नही पता पर मेरी पत्नी के सारे जेवर जो उसने मुझ से लड़ लड़ कर बनवाये थे बिक चुके थे।

मेरे साले के गले की चेन बिक चुकी थी जो मेरी  पत्नी ने मुझसे साले की जनोई मे 15 दिन रूठ कर जबरजस्ती दिलवाई थी, मेरा भाई जिस बाइक को अपनी जान से ज्यादा रखता था वो भी घर मे दिखाई नही दे रही थी।

मेरी माँ जिस जमीन को जीतेजी नही बेचना चाहती थी मेरे स्वर्गीय बाबूजी की आखरी निशानी थी वो भी मेरे इलाज मे बिक चुकी थी ।

मेरी पत्नी से लड़ाई होने पर मे गुस्से मे कहता था की जाओ अपनी माँ के घर चली जाओ वो मेरा ससुराल का घर भी गिरवी रखा जा चुका था,  मेरे निठल्ले दोस्त ने जो मुझसे  3000 रुपये लिए थे वो 30,000 वापस करके गया था।

                     

जिन्हे मे किसी काम का नही समझता था वे मेरे जीवन को बचाने के लिये पूरे बिक चुके थे मैं अकेला रोये जा रहा था बाकी सब लोग खुश थे।

क्योकी मुझे लग रहा था सब कुछ चला गया, और उन्हे लग रहा था की मुझे बचा कर उन्होने सब कुछ बचा लिया।

अब मुझे कोई भ्रम नहीं था की मैंने कोरोना को हराया है, क्योकी कोरोना को तो मेरे अपनो ने, मेरे परिवार ने हराया था ।

सब कुछ बिकने के बाद भी मुझे लग रहा था की आज दुनिया मे मुझसे अमीर कोई नही है।

यह कहानी किसी एक व्यक्ति की नही है अपितु हर उस इंसान की है जिसने कोरोना को नजदीक से देखा है।

तो आइए हम सब मिलकर प्रार्थना करे कि हे ईश्वर बहुत हो गया अब और नही, बस और नही।

Open your mouth only if what you are going to say is more beautiful than the silence. Successful people always have two things on their lips. Silence and a smile. Don’t waste words on people deserve your silence. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all. The tree of silence bears the fruit of peace.

मियां-बीबी दोनों मिल खूब कमाते हैं

पचास लाख का पैकेज दोनों ही पाते हैं

सुबह आठ बजे नौकरियों पर जाते हैं

रात ग्यारह तक ही वापिस आते हैं

अपने परिवारिक रिश्तों से कतराते हैं

अकेले रह कर वह  कैरियर  बनाते हैं

कोई कुछ मांग न ले वो मुंह छुपाते हैं

भीड़ में रहकर भी अकेले रह जाते हैं

मोटे वेतन की नौकरी छोड़ नहीं पाते हैं

अपने नन्हे मुन्ने को पाल  नहीं पाते हैं

फुल टाइम की मेड ऐजेंसी से लाते  हैं

उसी के जिम्मे वो बच्चा छोड़ जाते हैं

परिवार को उनका बच्चा नहीं जानता है

केवल आया'आंटी को ही पहचानता है

दादा -दादी, नाना-नानी कौन होते  है?

अनजान है सबसे किसी को न मानता है

आया ही नहलाती है आया ही खिलाती है

टिफिन भी रोज़ रोज़ आया ही बनाती है

यूनिफार्म पहना के स्कूल कैब में बिठाती है

छुट्टी के बाद कैब से आया ही घर लाती है

नींद जब आती है तो आया ही सुलाती है

जैसी भी उसको आती है लोरी सुनाती है

उसे सुलाने में अक्सर वो भी सो जाती है

कभी जब मचलता है तो टीवी दिखाती है

जो टीचर मैम बताती है वही वो मानता है

देसी खाना छोड कर पीजा बर्गर खाता  है

वीक ऐन्ड पर मौल में पिकनिक मनाता है

संडे की छुट्टी मौम-डैड के  संग बिताता है

वक्त नहीं रुकता है तेजी से गुजर जाता है

वह स्कूल से निकल के कालेज में आता है

कान्वेन्ट में पढ़ने पर इंडिया कहाँ भाता है

आगे पढाई करने वह विदेश चला जाता है

वहाँ नये दोस्त बनते हैं उनमें रम जाता है

मां-बाप के पैसों से ही खर्चा चलाता है

धीरे-धीरे वहीं की संस्कृति में रंग जाता है

मौम डैड से रिश्ता पैसों का रह जाता है

कुछ दिन में उसे काम वहीं मिल जाता है

जीवन साथी शीघ्र ढूंढ वहीं बस जाता है

माँ बाप ने जो देखा ख्वाब वो टूट जाता है

बेटे के दिमाग में भी कैरियर रह जाता है

बुढ़ापे में माँ-बाप अब अकेले रह जाते हैं

जिनकी अनदेखी की उनसे आँखें चुराते हैं

क्यों इतना कमाया ये सोच के पछताते हैं

घुट घुट कर जीते हैं खुद से भी शरमाते हैं

हाथ पैर ढीले हो जाते, चलने में दुख पाते हैं

दाढ़- दाँत गिर जाते, मोटे चश्मे लग जाते हैं

कमर भी झुक जाती, कान नहीं सुन पाते हैं

वृद्धाश्रम में दाखिल हो, जिंदा ही मर जाते हैं

सोचना की बच्चे अपने लिए पैदा कर रहे हो या विदेश की सेवा के लिए।

बेटा एडिलेड में, बेटी है न्यूयार्क।

ब्राईट बच्चों के लिए, हुआ बुढ़ापा डार्क।

बेटा डालर में बंधा, सात समन्दर पार।

चिता जलाने बाप की, गए पड़ोसी चार।

ऑन लाईन पर हो गए, सारे लाड़ दुलार।

दुनियां छोटी हो गई, रिश्ते हैं बीमार।

बूढ़ा-बूढ़ी आँख में, भरते खारा नीर।

मनुष्य को अंदर से खोखला कर देती हैं ये 3 चीजें, वक्त रहते ही हो जाएं सतर्क

खुशहाल जिंदगी के लिए आचार्य चाणक्य ने कई नीतियां बताई हैं। अगर आप भी अपनी जिंदगी में सुख और शांति चाहते हैं तो चाणक्य के इन सुविचारों को अपने जीवन में जरूर उतारिए।

आचार्य चाणक्य की नीतियां और विचार भले ही आपको थोड़े कठोर लगे लेकिन ये कठोरता ही जीवन की सच्चाई है। हम लोग भागदौड़ भरी जिंदगी में इन विचारों को भले ही नजरअंदाज कर दें लेकिन ये वचन जीवन की हर कसौटी पर आपकी मदद करेंगे। आचार्य चाणक्य के इन्हीं विचारों में से आज हम एक और विचार का विश्लेषण करेंगे। आज का ये विचार अहंकार, क्रोध और लालच पर आधारित है। 

'अहंकार, क्रोध और लालच इंसान की काबीलियत खा जाती है।' आचार्य चाणक्य

आचार्य चाणक्य के इस कथन का अर्थ है कि मनुष्य को तीन चीजें खत्म कर सकती हैं। ये तीन चीजें अहंकार, क्रोध और लालच है। ये तीनों चीजें इंसान की काबीयिलत को धीरे-धीरे पूरी तरह से नष्ट कर देती हैं। ये तीनों चीजें जब भी इंसान के ऊपर अपना कब्जा जमाती है तो उसकी सोचने और समझने की क्षमता सबसे पहले खत्म हो जाती है। मनुष्य फिर वही सोचता है और करता है जो ये चीजें उससे करवाती हैं। 

अपने किए गए कार्यों पर अहंकार करना मनुष्य की प्रवृत्ति होती है। ये अहंकार जब भी मनुष्य के समीप आता है तो सबसे पहले उसकी बुद्धि और बातचीत करने के तरीके में बदलाव होता है। वहीं क्रोध की बात की जाए तो क्रोध से मनुष्य जीभ पर कंट्रोल पूरी तरह से खो देता है। वो गुस्से में ऐसे शब्दों का इस्तेमाल कर देता है जो जीवनभर के लिए दुखदायी हो जाते हैं। जबकि लालच मनुष्य को कोई भी हद पार करा सकता है। 

यानी कि अगर इन चीनों में से एक चीज भी मनुष्य के अंदर आ गई तो उसकी काबीलियत को खत्म कर देती है। ऐसा मनुष्य ना तो किसी का प्रिय होता है और ना ही परिवार का साथ उसे मिलता है। ऐसा मनुष्य अपने जीवन में सिर्फ और सिर्फ अकेला ही रह जाता है। इसी वजह से आचार्य चाणक्य कहते हैं इन्हें हमेशा अपने आप से सौ कोस की दूरी पर रखना चाहिए।

This is a big reason behind the growth of applied learning and internship opportunities becoming a key part of the college experience for all students.

Why should you intern?

Application of education and career exploration. Internships are a great way to apply the knowledge from the classroom to real-world experience. Learning is one thing, but taking those skills into the workforce and applying them is a great way to explore different career paths and specializations that suit individual interests.

Gain experience and increase marketability. Having an internship gives you experience in the career field you want to pursue. Not only does this give individuals an edge over other candidates when applying for jobs, it also prepares them for what to expect in their field and increases confidence in their work.

Networking. Having an internship benefits you in the working environment, and it also builds your professional network. There is a 1 in 16 chance of securing a job by connecting with people, so networking is critical. Internships provide a great environment to meet professionals in the career field you want to pursue, as well as other interns who have similar interests.

National Data. According to a 2016 National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) survey, more than 56 percent of graduating seniors reported taking part in at least one internship. Of those respondents, 56 percent were paid, while 44 percent were unpaid. Seventy-two percent of those unpaid internships were credit-bearing.

Professionalism. Internships can provide students with the soft skills needed in the workplace and in leadership positions. In a LinkedIn Skills Report (2018), 57% of people rated soft skills as being more important than technical skills. Skills, such as communication, leadership, problem-solving, and teamwork can all be learned through an internship and utilized beyond that experience.

Learn how a professional workplace operates. Depending on your major, you may read about how organizations thrive and function in textbooks, hear from guest speakers who talk about organizational structures, or dive into case studies about workplace culture, but nothing compares to living the actual experience. Internships help students learn all about workplace culture, employee relations, and leadership structure, which should help them onboard in their first professional job with more ease than if they haven’t had professional experience.

Build your resume. Most organizations and jobs that you apply to following graduation want employees to have some sort of professional experience, even for entry-level jobs. In the event that you are a finalist for a position and haven’t had an internship experience but the other finalist has, you may lose out on a job opportunity, so make sure you at least have one internship on your resume before leaving college to give you a leg up on the competition.

Gain professional feedback. Not only will you be helping out the organization you intern with, but they’ll help you out too. While professors and teachers will prepare you for the theoretical side of your field and hands-on projects, internships provide opportunities for receiving feedback from someone who works in your desired field on a daily basis.

Learn from others. It might seem common sense – you’re interning to learn skills, after all – but don’t forget to purposefully observe others in their job role to learn the ins and outs of different positions. Consider asking your supervisor if you can shadow them for a day, along with other people in your department. Ask to sit in on departmentwide meetings as well. Act like a sponge and soak up all the information you can during your internship – it will benefit you in the long run.

Figure out what you like and don’t like. While everyone probably wants to walk away from an internship feeling excited and passionate about the experience, there’s a silver-lining to be found if you didn’t enjoy the job: you’ll know what you don’t like. According to an article from monster.com, “figuring out what type of job you don’t want while you’re interning can help prevent you from accepting an ill-fitting job when you graduate.”

Internships are a proven way to gain relevant knowledge, skills, and experience while establishing important connections in the field. Internships are also a way to get your feet wet and find out if a specific field is something you could see yourself doing full-time.

परमवीर चक्र मिलना चाहिए सुशांत सिंह राजपूत को

मुंबई में सुशांत सिंह राजपूत ने अपने फ़्लैट में फाँसी लगा कर आत्महत्या कर ली. 

कर ली तो कर ली.

दोस्त लोग कह रहे हैं ...वो कई महीनों से डिप्रेशन से पीड़ित थे. दोस्त लोग कह रहे हैं .. तो सही होगा.

सिर्फ चौंतीस साल की उम्र में अच्छी शिक्षा, अच्छा खान-पान, मौज-मस्ती, मुंबई की चमक-धमक वाला जीवन, गर्लफ्रैंड, पैसा, स्टारडम, जो चाहे वो पाए.

उसके बाद एक संघर्ष शुरू हुआ और फिर तुरंत आत्महत्या क्योंकि यही सबसे आसान है.

जी लिए ... जितना जीना था, और चले गए.

एक झटके में सब कुछ छोड़ कर. 

कई सपनों को तोड़कर.

कई उम्मीदों को ठोकर मारकर.

जी हाँ  .... सब कुछ ख़त्म कर दिया

सुशांत ने कुछ भी नहीं छोड़ा.

लेकिन ऐसा नहीं है. अभी कुछ बचा है.

आइये ..!! पटना चलते हैं, जहाँ उनके पिता जी रहते हैं.

जिन्होंने जीवन भर संघर्ष किया जीने के लिए, परिवार के लिए बच्चों के लिए. बच्चों के सपनों के लिए, अपने स्वाभिमान के लिए, अपने गर्व के लिए, लेकिन ....

कभी आत्महत्या करने को नहीं सोची.

उन्होंने अपने बेटे को खूब अच्छे से पाला-पोसा ~ बढ़िया शिक्षा दी, इंजीयरिंग कराया, लेकिन नौकरी के लिए बाध्य नहीं किया. बेटे को हीरो बनना था, साथ खड़े हो गए.

क्योंकि सुशांत से बड़े उनके पिता के सपने थे.

जीवन भर साथ निभाने का वादा करके आयी पत्नी ने भी साथ छोड़ दिया. उस बूढ़े बाप ने धीरे-धीरे अपनी बेटियों की शादी कर दी. एक बेटी ने भी साथ छोड़ दिया, लेकिन वो टूटा नहीं ,संघर्ष करता रहा. अपने संघर्षों के बावजूद, वो जी रहा है.

बीवी साथ नहीं थी, लेकिन वो जी रहा है. एक बेटी ने साथ छोड़ दिया, लेकिन वो जी रहा है, क्योंकि उसकी आँखों में एक सपना था। बेटे को कामयाब होते देखने का सपना.

संघर्षों से सदा लड़ा वो बाप, उसे पैसे की चाह नहीं थी.  उसका धन उसका बेटा था.

उसका सपना उसका बेटा था.

उसका गर्व उसका बेटा था.

उसका स्वाभिमान उसका बेटा था.

उसका मनोबल उसका बेटा था.

उसके लिए जीने का मतलब ही उसका बेटा था. 

आज बेटे ने ही जीवन से हार मान ली, और ये भी नहीं सोचा उसने, उन एक जोड़ी बूढ़ी आँखों का क्या होगा ?

जिसने बेटे के सपनों के लिए अपने सारे सपने तोड़ डाले.

वो गर्व, वो स्वाभिमान, वो मनोबल वो सपना, वो धन, वो उम्मीदें..सब एक झटके में खत्म हो गया.

मैं यही सोच रहा हूँ, कि

वास्तव में मरा कौन ? 

सुशांत या उनके पिता.

Silence Among Four Friends

Once four friends who used to practice meditation. One day they decided that they would observe silence for seven days.

One decided day they vowed to keep silence for seven days.

Since they couldn’t speak up, they asked for an assistant for these seven days. Assistant work was to attend to do needful while they meditate.

One first day, they started early in morning and day time passed well.

In evening, assistant lit a oil lamp. As time passed by oil got less, light from lamp got dimmer.

Assistant’s attention was somewhere else.

Seeing this first friend couldn’t help himself and shouted, “Attend to the lamps..!!”

Listening to this, second friend said, “Have you forgotten?? You are not supposed to speak..!!”

Just then third friend piped up, “You fools..!! Why are you talking??”

“Huh..!! I am only one who kept silent..”, exclaimed the last.

Moral: We tend to Judge others very Quickly but Forget to look at our Own Act and Behavior. So, Before judging other. First ask yourself – How perfect I am?

Lost Your Donkey, Find Your Destiny

Once a man was going to market with his donkey who was carrying two sacks of rice. After a while, man stopped on his way to rest under a tree. He tied his donkey near that tree.

Rope was loosely tied. When he woke up from his nap, he couldn’t find his donkey around. Man got worried and started searching for his donkey everywhere.

While searching for his donkey, he met a boy and asked, “Have you seen my donkey?”

Boy replied, “Is your donkey blind from left eye and has lame right foot. Was he carrying load of rice?”

Man got happy that now he will be able to find his donkey and said, “Yes..! yes..! that’s my donkey. Where have you seen it?”

Boy answered, “I haven’t seen it.”

Man thought to himself, “How could have boy known so much about my donkey without seeing it. May be he had stolen my donkey.”

Man asked boy again about his donkey. Boys still told him that he hadn’t seen. Man got angry and took boy to village chief for solution.

Man said to village chief that boy had stolen his donkey and now refusing to tell him about his donkey. Boy still insisted that he hadn’t seen his donkey.

Chief asked boy, “Dear boy, if you hadn’t seen donkey then how could you describe him so well.?”

Boy replied, “I saw tracks of donkey on my way. Donkey’s foot steps of right were different from left and from that i understood that donkey that passed from that way was limping.

Then i saw that grass on right side was eaten but not on left side, from this i understood that donkey’s was blind from left eye.

There were grains of rice scattered on the ground on way, donkey had passed. From that i understood that donkey must be carrying load of rice.”

Village chief understood that boy was not guilty and praised him for his cleverness. Man understood his mistake and left to find his donkey.

Moral: We should not be too Quick to Judge Other’s.

The Rolls Royce Story

One day, during his visit to London, King Jai Singh was walking around Bond Street in casual dress. There he saw Rolls Royce showroom and went inside. There he looked at cars and then inquired about price and features of cars.

When Salesman looked at him and saw his casual Indian Attire, he considered him just another poor Indian citizen and insulted him and almost showed him way out of his showroom.

After this insult, King Jai Singh didn’t said anything to Salesman at that time but went back to his hotel room and asked his servants to make call to showroom and tell them that King of Alwar, India is interested in purchasing their cars.

Call was made and everyone at showroom prepared for welcome of King.

After few hours, King went to Rolls Royce showroom again but this time, he went with his full astonishing Royal manner and in his Royal costume. Until he reached there was a red carpet ready on floor of showroom to welcome him.

All salesmen were bent with respect. King Jai Singh purchased all six cars, that they had at showroom at that time and paid full amount with delivery costs.

Salesmen at showroom were really happy about sales but no one knew what was coming in near future.

After reaching India, King ordered municipal department of his city to use all those six Rolls Royce cars for cleaning and transporting city’s waste.

World’s number one Rolls Royce cars, luxury cars which were so costly that common people couldn’t even afford to buy in America/ Europe, were now being used as transportation vehicle for city’s waste. This news spread all over the world rapidly and reputation of company was in drains.

Company’s image was so ruined in Europe and America that if someone used to boast about owning a Rolls Royce, people would laugh and make fun of them saying, “Which one? Same that is being used in India for carrying waste of city.”

Due to such reputation damages, sales of Rolls Royce dropped rapidly and revenue of company owners started falling down.

Company had to do something to save it’s reputation. They sent a Telegram to the King Jai Singh in India for apologies and requested to stop transportation of waste in Rolls Royce cars. Not only this but they also offered Six new cars to king free of cost.

When King Jai Singh observed that Rolls Royce has learnt a lesson and they are sorry for their Mistakes, King stopped using those cars for carrying wastes.
